About the event

The University of Oslo and the Center for Peace and Justice, Brac University co-organize an event on international refugee law and the Rohingya refugee situation in Bangladesh. 

Professor Maja Janmyr, drawing from the BEYOND Project, will give a lecture on the international refugee regime and non-signatory states.

Dr  M Sanjeeb Hossain will draw from his ASILE research and speak on the value of thinking historically to better understand the Rohingya Refugee Situation in Bangladesh. This will be followed by closing remarks from Sergio Carrera, Manzoor Hasan OBE, and others.

The event will be moderated by Manzoor Hasan, Executive Director of CPJ and takes place at the Center for Peace and Justice at Brac University in Dhaka.
